Wednesday Trivia
Ugh I haven’t posted about it yet, but ICYMI, over the weekend, NHL star Johnny Gaudreau (31) and his younger brother Matthew (29) were killed by a drunk driver while biking.
They were in town for their sister’s wedding and Johnny’s wife is pregnant. Just terrible…
💔 Rest in peace 💔
TODAY’S TRIVIA: American Emma Navarro has burst onto the scene over the last couple of majors (defeating Coco twice, reaching the 4th round at the Aussie Open, and the quarters at Wimbledon).
Yesterday, she defeated Paula Badosa (6-2, 7-5) to advance to her first Grand Slam semifinal. She was also down 5-1 in the second set! Crazy stuff. She takes on Aryna Sabalenka on Thursday.
Navarro was a national singles champion in college back in 2021.

One hint today.
Yesterday’s Trivia: In 1998, Alex Rodriguez hit 42 dingers and stole 46 bags.
This school has won a national title in basketball in the last 10 years
Details on the weekly challenge:
I missed you. We’re back with a new setup:
Each week, there will be a new challenge.
The majority of the time, it will be in a format similar to what you're used to (an NBA question, an NFL question, an MLB question, etc.). Sometimes there will be a week with a specific theme (Olympics, a specific sport, a specific event, etc.). But each week, there will be a new winner with prizes for specific weeks.
Generally speaking, the questions should increase in difficulty as the week goes on (M→F).
I will announce the winners each Monday morning. That same day, the next challenge will begin. I will reach out to you if you are a winner to collect your name and information.
Lots of winners, lots of fun. Get it?
Thanks for playing. See you tomorrow.
