Wednesday Trivia
Did you get the first two right for this week? Spoiler alert: most of you did.
TODAY’S TRIVIA — In most years, several teams surpass 100 wins in the MLB season. Over the last 10 years, the MLB averages almost three teams per season. The closest right now is the Phillies, who have to go 27-11 the rest of the way.
Last year, 3 teams had over 100 wins.
Which one of these teams did NOT have 100 wins last season?click to reveal |
One hint today.
Yesterday’s Trivia: Clint Dempsey is tied with Landon Donovan for the most goals for the USMNT with 57.
The records for these four teams were:
104-58
101-61
100-62
99-63
Details on the weekly challenge:
I missed you. We’re back with a new setup:
Each week, there will be a new challenge.
The majority of the time, it will be in a format similar to what you're used to (an NBA question, an NFL question, an MLB question, etc.). Sometimes there will be a week with a specific theme (Olympics, a specific sport, a specific event, etc.). But each week, there will be a new winner with prizes for specific weeks.
Generally speaking, the questions should increase in difficulty as the week goes on (M→F).
I will announce the winners each Monday morning. That same day, the next challenge will begin. I will reach out to you if you are a winner to collect your name and information.
Lots of winners, lots of fun. Get it?
Thanks for playing. See you tomorrow.
