Okay, so there is no Chet "Boomstick" McGinty. There is also no Donny Taggart, Harmon Jibbles, Sonny Whelan, or Walt Bickerson. The one bit that was not complete nonsense yesterday was Aristides Aquino, who actually does hold the record for the most home runs by a rookie through 5 games (3).

So the answer was real, but I had fun making up the setup.

TODAY’S TRIVIA: A college football team is in the news this week after announcing they will offer free concessions at home games. Fans will be able to order four items per concession visit.

The school is one of several in college football that has a non-traditional colored turf field.
