Tour de France Trivia
At only 25 years old, Slovenia’s Tadej Pogačar won his third Tour de France by defeating the two-time defending champion Jonas Vingegaard (which was also impressive given he spent 12 days in the hospital after a nasty crash in April).
Other Tour highlights:
Belgium’s Remco Evenepoel took third in his Tour debut
Mark Cavendish got his elusive 35th career stage win (a new record)
Eritrea’s Biniam Girmay captured the green jersey for the top sprinter (and 3 stage wins). Girmay became the first African rider to win any jersey (likely a future trivia question)
TODAY’S TRIVIA — Pogačar’s 3 GC (General Classification) wins now rank 2nd for the most wins this century.

Note: Lance Armstrong’s 6 GC wins from 2000-2005 do not count as they were stripped of him for doping. Fun fact: you and I have as many Tour wins as Armstrong.
Hints below if you need them. No hints = Hard. 1 hint = Medium. 2 hints = Easy.
Yesterday’s Trivia: Brooks Koepka was the last player to win two majors in a single season in 2018 (PGA Championship and US Open).

Got it yet? Go on to hint number 2 if you’re still not sure.
