Thursday Trivia
I have waited a long time for this…the NFL is officially back!
The first NFL action starts tonight when the Baltimore Ravens head to Arrowhead Stadium to take on Taylor Swift Patrick Mahomes and the 2-time defending champion Chiefs.
Game starts at 8:20pm ET on NBC and Peacock.
TODAY’S TRIVIA: The Chiefs will attempt to become the first team to win 3 consecutive Super Bowls*
The last team to repeat was the Patriots (‘04 and ‘05) but they failed to advance past the Divisional series in a loss against the Denver Broncos.
Who won the Super Bowl that year (2006)?click to reveal |
*The only team to win 3 titles in a row was the Packers in the 60s but one of those wins was before the Super Bowl was established*
No hint today.
Yesterday’s Trivia: Emma Navarro won the singles national title at the University of Virginia in 2021
Details on the weekly challenge:
I missed you. We’re back with a new setup:
Each week, there will be a new challenge.
The majority of the time, it will be in a format similar to what you're used to (an NBA question, an NFL question, an MLB question, etc.). Sometimes there will be a week with a specific theme (Olympics, a specific sport, a specific event, etc.). But each week, there will be a new winner with prizes for specific weeks.
Generally speaking, the questions should increase in difficulty as the week goes on (M→F).
I will announce the winners each Monday morning. That same day, the next challenge will begin. I will reach out to you if you are a winner to collect your name and information.
Lots of winners, lots of fun. Get it?
Thanks for playing. See you tomorrow.
