Friday Trivia
You made it to the three-day weekend.
We have a huge weekend in sports:
3rd and 4th rounds of the Australian Open (ESPN Networks)
NFL: Divisional Round Playoffs
NHL: Hockey Day in Canada (ESPN+ and NHL)
Men’s Soccer: USA vs Venezuela
NBA: Most teams in action
NCAA men and women’s basketball (we are about 2 months from March Madness)
Must watch:
NFL: Ravens @ Bills. If you can watch one game this weekend, it’s this one. Top two MVP candidates square off in what could be a snowy, single-digit temperature game. Sunday at 6:30pm ET on CBS and Paramount+
NBA: Lakers (21-17) @ Clippers (22-17). A big one for two teams in the wake of these horrific wildfires. Sunday at 9pm ET on NBA TV
TODAY’S TRIVIA 🏒: Tomorrow is the 25th anniversary of Hockey Day in Canada with all 7 teams in action.
All 7 of these teams are currently in or just outside the playoff picture (the Canucks and Senators are both only a point out of a playoff position). It would be the first time since 1986 that all Canadian teams made the playoffs (and that season ended with Montreal beating Calgary).
The Canadians have 24 Stanley Cup wins, which is the most among all NHL teams.
What Canadian team has the second most Stanley Cups?Click to reveal |
Hint: 13 Stanley Cup wins
Yesterday’s Trivia: Brock Bowers (TE, Raiders) was named first-team All-NFL, so naturally he would be on the All-Rookie team as well. He was the only rookie to be named to the first or second-team All-NFL team.
Thanks for playing. See you tomorrow.
