Friday Trivia

Super Bowl Addition

Super Bowl Sunday is just two days away.

It’s always bittersweet: I love the Super Bowl, but it also means it’s the end of football season.

TODAY’S TRIVIA: New Orleans will host the Super Bowl for a record-tying 11th time (8 in the Superdome).

What city has also hosted the Super Bowl 11 times?

Hint: This city last hosted in 2020 (Super Bowl LIV where the Chiefs beat the Niners 31-20)

TODAY’S PREDICTION: Will it be the 3-peat or will Giants fans have to watch Saquon Barkley (whose 28th birthday will be Sunday) lift the Lombardy trophy in green?

Who wins Super Bowl 59?

My Take: I didn’t include the spread because it’s only 1.5 points (in favor of the Chiefs). This one to me just feels like the 3-peat is inevitable. The Eagles last won in a blowout and the Chiefs have got it done in the tight games this season. I have bet against the Chiefs all season and been wrong on all accounts, so I think the Chiefs win in a tight one.

Chiefs 24 Eagles 20

Favorite Super Bowl Prop Bets: One of my favorite bets is how long the National Anthem will run every year. This year, the line sits at 120.5 seconds with additional bets for whether Batiste will play the piano or not (-400 that he will) as well as how long he sings the final “brave” (over/under is at 3.5 seconds).

Other favorite bets include the coin flip and the Gatorade color (it was purple for the last two seasons when the Chiefs won, so my bet is that it would be that again).

Yesterday’s Trivia: James Harden has the second most active scoring titles with 3
