Playoff Trivia
Sunday Funday. We have eight game 1s today between the NBA and NHL playoffs. Hope you have a good couch and some bad weather today.
Morning Thought Bubble:
NBA Playoffs:
Heat (8) @ Celtics (1) at 1pm ET on ABC. Celtics are the heavy favorites, but the Heat have come alive in the playoffs in recent years.
Mavs (5) @ Clippers (4) @ 3:30pm ET on ABC. Should be the best 1st round series. Luka vs. Paul George and Kawhi
Pacers @ Bucs at 7pm ET on TNT. The Bucs are the favorites but they might be without Giannis for game 1 as he recovers from a calf strain.
Pelicans (8) @ Thunder (1) at 9:30pm ET on TNT. The Thunder have the youngest 1 seed ever (average age 24 years old). They are the better team, but will their lack of playoff experience catch up to them?
NHL Playoffs:
Lightning (D1) @ Panthers (WC1) at 12:30pm ET on ESPN. The battle for Florida should be a good one. The Panthers have been one of the best teams all year but the Lightning have the playoff experience and overall points leader, Nikita Kucherov.
Capitals (WC2) @ Rangers (D1) at 3pm ET on ESPN. The President’s Trophy winner Rangers look to take of Ovechkin and the Caps.
Avalanche (D3) @ Jets (D2) at 7pm ET on ESPN2. The Jets were the better team all season but the Avalanche still have a lot of the core that won the Stanley Cup just 2 seasons ago.
Predators (WC1) @ Canucks (D1) @ 10pm ET on ESPN. The Canucks swept the regular season series but the Preds have been one of the hottest teams over the second half of the season. Should be a good one.
