NFL Draft Trivia
Happy Friday!
Morning thought bubble:
6 QBs were taken in the first 12 picks and the first 14 picks were on offense. Wild stuff. I think all hell broke loose as soon as the Falcons took Michael Penix Jr. at 8 overall. Teams got great value on defense in the second half of the first round.
The Panthers and the Hurricanes went up 3-0 in their opening-round matchups. Those could be over.
The Lakers went down 3-0 to the Nuggets (two sweeps in a row??), while the Magic (and the 76ers held home court and are now down 2-1.
Trivia: Last night, 7 wide receivers were drafted in the first round, which tied the 2004 draft as the most selected in the opening round.
