Morning Sports Trivia

Today’s topic: NFL Combine

Happy Leap Day!

I really wanted to do a “This Day in Sports History” type of question but as you might guess, there wasn’t a ton of action on a day that comes around once every four years.

I did however find this fun fact: In 1952, American figure skater Dick Button (yes, Dick Button) won the World Men's Figure Skating Championship in Paris. Loved the name and thought I’d share.

Back to the action: the NFL combine kicks off today with the defensive linemen and linebacker groups (full schedule at the bottom).

Most folks tune in to see who will run the fastest 40 time, which is historically done by a defensive back (Friday), a receiver (Saturday), or a running back (also Saturday).

There are a few names to keep an eye on this weekend who might challenge for the record including Jaylen Wright (RB, Tennesee), Daequan Hardy (CB, Penn State), Xavier Worthy (WR, Texas), and Roman Wilson (WR, Michigan).

Question: who has the fastest 40 in NFL combine history?

Fastest time: 4.22 seconds
