Monday Trivia
The UConn women have done it again.
Paige Beuckers puts her name down with the other UConn greats and gets her elusive national championship.
The Huskies blew out the defending champion Gamecocks en route to their record 12th title.
I will say, I think it was pretty lame that the game wasn’t even in prime time. A 3pm ET game? Noon for the West Coast? Come on.
On the men’s side, we have the Florida Gators, who have been the nation’s hottest team, vs. the Houston Cougars, who rallied in the final minutes to beat the tournament favorite Blue Devils.
Should be a good one.
If I were a betting man, I’d put my money on Florida, but I’d love to see Houston win tonight, especially for Head Coach Kelvin Sampson, the second-most winningest active head coach without a national title.
In completely unrelated news, Alex Ovechkin broke one of the most unbreakable records in sports.
Ovechkin broke Wayne Gretzky's record for the most goals all time, and he did it in the same number of games 👀
Ovechkin and Gretzky each played 1,487 total games, and The Great Eight now has more more goal than The Great One.
Check out number 895. You gotta love the celly afterwards.
