We’re back. Great long weekend of sports:

  • THE Ohio State University: Remember when everyone was calling for Head Coach Ryan Day's job after the loss to Michigan? Crazy times. Ohio State outmatched Notre Dame in last night’s National Championship game to win the first 12-team CFP. Fun fact: OSU spends the most amount of money on athletics (~$300M/year)

  • NFL Playoffs: The Eagles and Commanders will face off in the NFC Championship game and of course, the Bills will take on the two-time champion Chiefs

  • Dodgers signed Rōki Sasaki, the top free agent pitcher on the market. They then signed top reliever Tanner Scott (who their rival Padres just traded for last season for 4 top prospects)

  • Aussie Open: Coco Gauff (3) lost in straight sets to Paula Badosa (11) and Djokovic (7) and Alcaraz (3) are playing right now on ESPN

TODAY’S TRIVIA: One of the bigger upsets this weekend was the Washington Commanders taking down the top-seeded Detroit Lions. Rookie Jayden Daniels was brilliant throwing for nearly 300 yards and 2 TDs.

He is the second rookie to beat a number 1 seed in the playoffs.
