Happy Thursday! Did I jinx Taylor Fritz? Our last American lost in 5 sets to Lorenzo Musetti (🤌).
Also, did anyone else watch the Uruguay v Columbia match? Columbia scored in the 39th minute but then got a red card right before halftime so they had to play with 10 men for the entire second half. Dramatic last 7 minutes of extra time and then it seemed like Luis Suarez tried to start a fight after the final whistle. It had everything.
They play Messi and Argentina on Sunday.
TODAY’S TRIVIA — On Sunday, thieves stole a briefcase at the Dallas Card Show that contained approximately $2M worth of baseball cards. The case contained almost 200 cards and included a Mickey Mantle rookie card.
In 2022, a Mickey Mantle card was sold at auction for $12.6M, which is the most expensive baseball card ever sold.

Yesterday’s Trivia: Pete Sampras won his 7th and final Wimbledon back in 2000.
Many of you thought it was Andy Roddick who won Wimbledon last, but unfortunately, Roddick never claimed a Wimbledon title. He made the final three times and lost to Federer each time. He did win the US Open back in 2003.
